Hands in 4 Youth

Project: Identity, Website
Client: Hands in 4 Youth
Catch New York, 2014

Hands in 4 Youth (formerly known as Vacamas) is a not-for-profit organization founded in 1924. Since then, they’ve been helping at-risk youth of the New York-New Jersey-Connecticut- Pennsylvania area through camp and after-school programs. Based on an existing logo, I established a brand identity to be implemented throughout printed collateral and a new website that expressed a youthful and evolved organization. In addition, I designed a decorative typeface, (based on ITC Lubalin Graph that was used for headlines) to be used in more expressive brand applications and a playful custom illustration set for collateral.

Designed under the direction of Doug Spitzer and Doug Wiganowske.
